Watch at: 00:00 / 00:00:20 hey guys my name is simsy how you all doing welcome back to some more rome total war remastered here today on the channel i thought i'd do a campaign tutorial for newcomers as the game is going to be released today and there's bound to be beginners and players wanting to better their campaigns i thought i'd do a video and give you my Watch at: 00:20 / 00:40 thoughts and opinions some tips and tricks on how to start up and set up a campaign and succeed we're going to be playing a fair few turns here today as the julie romans so maybe this video might help you if you haven't played rome total war in a while or never played the game and Watch at: 00:40 / 01:00 a lot of people like focused on medieval too early on in their childhood but yeah maybe there are some of you out there that play total war consistently but maybe just need a refresher on some of the features and mechanics now because of the grand size and scale of rome total war remastered there's Watch at: 01:00 / 01:20 bound to be things that i've missed so i do really recommend checking out the comments of this video we've got a really good and great community on the channel who are really eager to help newcomers to total war so i do recommend checking out the top rated and most thumbs up Watch at: 01:20 / 01:40 comments now after you've watched this video i do recommend my skippy i roman campaign let's play which i've wrapped up on the channel if you want to check out sort of the late to mid-tier game and see a full campaign completion we also talk about some tips and tricks throughout those series off and on also Watch at: 01:40 / 02:00 some roman history as well so i do recommend that series after this okay before we start a new game every total war campaign starts in the settings so let's go through and have a look at the graphics settings to start things off okay so uh campaign map vibrancy is usually set to 100 by Watch at: 02:00 / 02:20 default this is down to personal preference uh i have seen some people with higher resolution monitors don't like it on 100 i personally don't really care either all we'll keep it on zero for now uh ui size i've it's on default at 100 i've put it up to 110 just because of youtube Watch at: 02:20 / 02:40 and i'm recording so you guys can actually see me manually click stuff also for mobile users watching youtube videos so if you're not a youtube you're not recording you probably could put this to 100 but it doesn't really overly matter too much okay let's go into the advanced graphics settings now these are mostly on by default Watch at: 02:40 / 03:00 some of the um distortion effects like i i don't like motion blur in my games that's just like a personal preference for me like any game mostly fps's though if i'm playing like apex or csgo or whatever i just don't like that um and even some distortion effects i am actually using a new graphics card on my new pc i'm using an rtx 360.I have been improving one of Undying Nephalim's older releases of Hyrule Total War - namely the 3.8 version released at the end of 2014 and the final version with all the old faction rosters.
