Stylish Executioner replaces the Flawless Execution passive that Middle Tree Nightstalker had. This animation is the same for both dodge types, making Marksman's Dodge more appealing for PvP builds. The animation for the dodge has changed in The Witch Queen, covering a further distance than your typical Hunter Dodge animation. Vanishing Step works just like it did before Void 3.0, turning you Invisible for a short duration upon dodging. Essentially, you can now make your allies invisible and have an easier way of doing so with Quickfall. Your melee ability grants Invisibility in addition to Weakening targets. Unlike Shatterdive, Quickfall consumes your melee charge and has no interaction with Stasis crystals. Trapper's Ambush gives the Nightstalker subclass an aerial descent tool that's similar to the Revenant's Shatterdive Aspect. After performing a Stylish Execution, your next melee attack while invisible weakens targets. (2 Fragment Slots) Defeating a Weakened, Suppressed, or Volatile target grants Invisibility and Truesight. (2 Fragment Slots) Dodging makes you Invisible. Your Smoke Bomb makes nearby allies Invisible when it attaches to nearby surfaces or targets. Targets caught in the cloud are Weakened, and allies and made Invisible. (1 Fragment Slot) Activate Quickfall to spend your melee charge and dive to the ground, creating a large smoke cloud on impact which then dissipates. The Bastion Aspect makes it incredibly easy to gain overshields on command by using your Barricade. Most sources of Void Overshield involve using your melee or class ability. Unlike the other two Void buffs, it is impossible for Hunters and Warlocks to get Void Overshields on their own, making this a buff that's truly unique to the Sentinel's kit. The only Void Overshield that's stronger than 45 HP is Armor of Light, a 425 HP overshield obtained by using the Ward of Dawn Super. Gaining another overshield type will override your Void Overshield, removing it entirely.

Overshields obtained from mods or Stasis' Whisper of Rime Fragment do not grant bonus DR in PvE. It is the Sentinel Titan's specialty.Īs the name suggests, not all overshields count as Void Overshields. PvP overshields grant no damage resistance, only extra HP. In PvE, your Void Overshield grants 15% damage resistance against combatants, stacking multiplicatively with other DR sources. Void Overshield acts as a second health bar, granting up to 45 extra HP while providing a small amount of damage resistance. As with PvE, offensive actions remove Invisibility. This ping lasts for around a second before you vanish from the radar again. You cannot change this through any Aspects of Fragments. While invisible, you will ping the enemy's radar once every five seconds. In PvP, Invisibility makes you much harder to see and hides you from enemy radar. There also seems to be a slight delay before enemies drop aggro when you become invisible. Some enemies-notably Hive Shriekers-can see through Invisibility and shoot you. Bear in mind that Invisibility is not invincibility you can still take damage while invisible. It serves as the Nightstalker's main defensive property and makes recovering your HP mid-gunfight far easier. In PvE, becoming invisible will cause enemies to stop shooting you, drawing their attention to your allies instead. It is the Nightstalker Hunter's specialty. Most Invisibility sources last for five seconds by default. With that said, there is a short grace period upon becoming invisible where actions won't decloak you, allowing you to throw a quick grenade or shoot a single bullet.
Performing any offensive action-shooting, punching a target, throwing grenades, or using your Super-will remove this buff. Invisibility makes your Guardian harder to see, preventing enemies from shooting you in PvE while hiding you from enemy radar in PvP.
